First Impressions
Val'Quirico looks like a small medieval village in Tuscany, with stone streets, arches, towers, fountains and terraces full of flowers. Keep in mind that it is not a historic town: it was built recently as a themed village for restaurants, shops and hotels. Still, it is beautiful for photos, relaxed for a long lunch, and a fun day trip from Puebla.
History & How Long to Stay
Val'Quirico was built on the land of the former Hacienda Santa Águeda, a dairy hacienda from the Porfiriato era (late 19th to early 20th century). The owners first tried to turn it into a private club, which did not work, and then rebuilt it as an Italian-style village. It opened to the public in 2014 and quickly became popular on social media.
