  • Uber / DiDi / Cabify

    Cheaper and safer than street taxis in every big city. Pay in cash or card via the app; a cross town ride usually runs 4 to 8 dollars.

  • Metro and Metrobus

    Mexico City's system is huge and cheap (about 30 US cents per ride). Rush hour is packed; women only cars are marked on platforms.

  • ADO buses

    The gold standard for intercity travel. Reserve online, arrive 30 minutes early, and pick the executive tier for reclining seats.
