A protected area with one of the longest underwater cave systems in the world. You can walk down to Ben's Cave and Burial Mound Cave, where Lucayan remains were found. Across the road, a boardwalk through mangroves leads to Gold Rock Beach, a wide, empty white beach where scenes of Pirates of the Caribbean were filmed. At low tide, sandbars stretch far into the sea.
