The Stockyards National Historic District preserves the look and feel of an old western town with wooden storefronts, saloons, and twice-daily cattle drives down Exchange Avenue. Beyond the cattle drive there are rodeos, western museums, live country music venues, and shops selling cowboy boots and hats. The atmosphere is theatrical but rooted in real ranching history and it is a great place for families and photographers.
