One of the largest medieval fortresses in Spain, on top of Mount Benacantil (166 m). Its oldest parts date from the Moorish period; most of what you see is from the 16th century. From the top you see the whole bay, the port and the city. Look at the rock from the beach: locals say it looks like a face, the "Cara del Moro" (Moor's face).
